Wedding & Event Designer
I'm a Pacific Northwest girl through and through! Born and raised in the lush green state of Oregon, I opted to stay local and go to college at Oregon State University. Go Beavers! Throughout school, I continued to work for our family business and learned quickly how to manage my time with ongoing commitments at school, work, and with membership in my sorority. One of my most favorite memories during college was winter term in my junior year where I took part in an exchange program. The outskirts of London, England became my home for 3 months and I loved it!!! I used my weekends for travel - Scotland, Ireland, Wales and also jumped over to Europe for quick visits to Paris and Amsterdam. That is where I gained my serious passion for travel.
After obtaining my Business and Psychology degrees, I moved north to the "big city" – Seattle. Soon after arriving, I was in the right place at the right time to land a job in the HR department at Microsoft. Over the course of 8 years, I had a myriad of positions within their Benefits Department where I learned so much about Financial Benefit Programs that I was eventually managing a worldwide program offered to over 80 countries. I think my daily interaction with HR counterparts around the world triggered the reboot of my travel passion - I wanted to see more of the world! So after many fantastic years in Seattle, I decided it was time for a change and embarked on my biggest life adventure by moving here to beautiful Los Cabos. With such short mild summers in the NW, I couldn't resist the warmth and sunshine of Mexico!
I've been here for several years now and continue to be thankful each and every day. I absolutely made a great decision in coming here and consider myself to be very lucky. I am anxious to share the beauty of our town with those that choose to hold their destination wedding in Cabo. It is such a delight to be involved during the wedding planning, helping to create an experience that is cherished and unforgettable! The experience I’ve gained with many different cultures and traditions, most recently through travels to the Bahamas and New Zealand, increases my success with my bridal couples from near and far.
